Suicide Bereavement UK will have an exhibition table at the 7th Culture and International Mental Health Conference in Manchester.

The Global Mental Health and Cultural Psychiatry research group, based at the University of Manchester are organising the 7th Culture and International Mental Health Conference on the 8th November 2017. This is led by Professor Nusrat Husain and will be held at Chancellors hotel, Manchester.   The conference will focus on suicide and self-harm in low-middle income countries.

Delegates will be provided an opportunity to hear about mental health research of global impact, the challenges of conducting such research and the opportunities for positive impact in the community. The conference allows the opportunity for innovation and raising awareness as well as networking with academics and researchers in the field of mental health.

Suicide Bereavement UK will have an exhibition at this event.  It will be an opportunity to speak to Dr. Sharon McDonnell to learn about the research she is currently conducting, especially the national suicide bereavement study.
